Venice and Englewood Lions Vision-Screening & Eyecare Program
The Venice and Englewood Lions Clubs come together to save the vision of community residents through the Vision and Hearing Screening & Eye Care Program. Click on the photo to learn more.
Student Vision Program
The Englewood and Venice Lions Clubs have affiliated with the National School Nurses Association to provide school nurses with vouchers for free vision exams and glasses for students who qualify in the Englewood, Laurel, Nokomis and Venice school systems. Contact your school nurse for information.
Neighbors in Need, a Starkey Cares Program
The Venice Lions Club brings alive a program to assist community members in obtaining hearing aids for those with hearing loss. Hearing screenings are held monthly in conjunction with the Venice and Englewood Lions Vision-Screening and Eye Care Program. A big thank you to the providers who participate in our program! Children's Vision Screening Program
The Venice Lions visit the preschools in our community, screening children six months to 6 years of age with a machine that can detect six different anomalies in the eyes of preschool children. Click on the photo to learn more.
